Ricky Johnson and Friends Foundation is committed to building bridges of hope, inspiration, and encouragement within the communities we serve. It is our mission to EDUCATE the community, as well as its volunteers in the importance of supporting each other while building a mutual partnership, MOTIVATE each other to successfully achieve personal and career goals, and lastly to DONATE our time to the community, jointly, to continue the process of community & family development.
It is the goal of Ricky Johnson and Friends to foster a commitment to young people that will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, and reassert a sense of hope in the future.
My Story
Since 2006, The Ricky Johnson and Friends Foundation has been making a difference in communities in and around the Richmond Metropolitan area. Now in its 11th year,
The Ricky Johnson and Friends Foundation has extended its reach into several other cities in Virginia and has touched the lives of tens of thousands of children and families.
Born out of a desire to be a blessing to others, Johnson's foundation along with its partners has committed itself to enhancing the lives of others through charitable giving, mentoring, and education. The Christmas Parade for Children is the crown jewel of the Ricky Johnson and Friends Foundation's charitable efforts in which toys and Christmas presents are delivered via motorcade to over thirty thousand children and families. The Foundation's founder Ricky Johnson insists that giving to those less fortunate is one of he greatest outward symbols of respect for umanity and demonstrates an appreciation for all that one has been given.
